| Travis Browne Wants A Rematch Against Bigfoot Silva Travis Browne Wants A Rematch Against Bigfoot Silva Quote:
UFC Heavyweight Travis "Hapa" Browne wants to avenge his first professional loss and rematch Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva as soon as his hamstring is healed.
MMA Fight Corner's Heidi Fang caught up with Browne who was working Andrei Arlovski's corner at the World Series of Fighting in Las Vegas and got the update of when we can expect him to return.
"I'm about two weeks ahead right now, of schedule, so it's coming along great. I should be back training in full by mid-December and then hopefully start up fight camp by February."

"I think I deserve it. It was just a freak accident. I fell on that kick 10,000 times and just on this one time it happened to pop on me. The way I look at it is, he's the one man in the world that can stand there and say he beat me, that he beat me up, that he whupped my ass. I want that fight back. I want another shot."

Travis deserves his rematch. And I feel it is real bullshit the high Bigfoot is riding off this fight. Dana said it himself about how much his stock has risen but how so? Anyone and everyone watching that fight knows that Travis leg was severely injured after throwing that first kick or 2. Yet I've heard Bigfoot talked about like a fuckin world beater cause of it.

I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

Everyone who loses wants a rematch. Few get that wish though.

I think its somewhat justified, at the same time Travis came out cocky as hell throwing those stupid kicks that missed their mark...rematch down the road I'd say

He's coming off a loss, so get a win first. I was a fan, still respect his skill but that complete lack of respect pissed me off and I don't even like Bigfoot.
But him doing those dirty ass knee stomps and getting injured made me glad, karma is a bitch.

I'd love to see the rematch. I know, coulda woulda shouda, but if he didn't fuck up his knee he probably would have won that fight.

Ok all the talk of the "stupid kicks" he threw is bugging me. I was actually impressed with them. It's not often you see that kind of agility from someone his size. They definitely caught Bigfoot off guard and if they had landed they would have seriously messed him up. It's the kind of thing you can throw 1000 times and nothing go wrong.

Injuries happen. I'm sick of everyone acting like he deserved it. Tons of fighters has attempted flashy strikes, and they rarely get shit for them. I thought most people were sick of how boring most heavyweight fights can be.
Also Bigfoot gets way to much hype.
