Someone saying Anderson Silva is an "overated clown" is like saying Led Zepplin was a one hit wonder.
Now RD before you get mad look up "the Zep" I am actually defending AS.
I don't understand why people would be excited to see Silva vs GSP. GSP's skillset be would heavily impeded do to the size difference, while Silva's would be enhanced.
If GSP was the amazing striker with top notch BJJ and Silva possessed the amazing takedowns and great top control, this fight would make a bit more sense.
The size difference just makes this an even worse stylistic match-up.

Jones has better takedowns than Sonnen... He is also bigger, faster and stronger than Chael... and when he does get Anderson down, he will fuck his face up.... Add to that Jones has a huge reach advantage and the speed to deal with Anderson standing... Now that is a stylistic nightmare...
