FG we still on for that bet we made a little while back? lol |
Hell yeah we're still on.
Also, pretty sure Rampage's record says he's been finished five times, so I don't know about him NEVER getting finished. Not to mention that names Rampage has fought like Bader and Hamill are quite one dimensional in their attacks, while fighters like Rashad and Machida fight alot more conservatively. Glover on the other hand, has scary power with crisp footwork and timing along with some of the most devastating GNP at LHW with the added threat of great BJJ.
IMO, Glover's more well-rounded/technical overall and clearly more driven, whereas Rampage is on the tail end of his career that has declined markedly since the Griffin decision, he's rarely showed up with his A game, has looked VERY poorly against Bader recently(in a fight HE wanted, but still came in overweight) and has simply not evolved as an overall fighter in years and hasn't himself finished anybody in over four years. I don't think he ever recovered mentally from the Forrest loss and is going to phone this one in looking for a homerun, he will be embarassed in the cage.
There's greater reasoning beyond "he's not a big enough name" or "he doesn't have enough Twitter followers" as to why LHWs don't want to fight Glover, he's a walking destroyer and as I've stated time and again, I'll wager anybody sig/av etc on this fight, because Glover is the real deal.
