Kind of needed to happen. The UFC really needs more talent to fill out all the shows they are putting on, a couple big pick ups from SF can really make a difference.

If this means that the likes of Melendez, Mousasi, Cormier, Barnett and Jacare are going to UFC then this is great news.
If not, then it is great news anyway because Strikeforce has been shitty since Zuffa bought them.

good its about damn time
i hope bellator gets some good left overs because there's no way all the strikeforce guys can shine in the ufc some need to go to bellator and bolster their roster as well as the WSOF which i have high hopes for. Now if we could just get gina carano to make naughty movies or fight

This sucks every time a MMA promotion closes its doors we lose an opportunity to see new and exciting fights/fighters. Yes i agree that some of the fighters will end up on the big stage of the UFC and will prosper that is the bright side of this.
This means less fights to watch in the future. We all saw this coming but it still stinks.
The more options to watch MMA the better and now we have one fewer option that put together decent fights and cards.
