Anderson is the one who has lobbied for this fight alongside Dana White. GSP does not want the fight and will do so only under duress from Zuffa and the public.

Make no mistake, GSP's agent will reject the fight until they get offered the amount that is worth the risk/reward.
This is also not true on GSP's part. GSP has expressed interest as well to reporters. I have already posted videos on this so im not hunting it down again on Youtube.

Obviously GSP won't call out Silva now knowing he has to get through Condit 1st. That is not how GSP rolls nor has Silva been stalking GSP. Don't get it twisted GSP isn't being made to fight anyone and if he didn't want this fight it wouldn't be happening in the same manner that Jones Vs Silva isn't.

What decade was your video filmed?

Was it, perhaps, 4 years ago, when the divisions were infinitely more cleared out than they are now?

Why is it that when Anderson says something, but then does a 180 and entirely reverses it, you go with that...but when Georges says something years ago, but then comes out with diametrically opposed statements more recently, you can't seem to let the original statement go?

What is RD referring to anyways? I know the only thing I've ever heard came from GSP's trainer, not GSP himself.

Dana White: Anderson Silva is not bluffing, scared or disinterested in Georges St. Pierre super fight - MMAmania.com
Quote:
"Silva said he wouldn't fight Chael either. He will be in Montreal on Saturday night and if GSP wins, they'll fight. When we go to Dallas, I want to bring the right fight there. I think it is either GSP-Anderson or Anderson-Jon Jones."

Immediately after Silva defeated Chael for the 2nd time. The 1st time you made this accussation about GSP not wanting to fight Silva I replied with a video showcasing otherwise.

Ask yourself this question if this was a sure bet that GSP didn't want this fight do you actually think Dana and Joe Silva would already be looking at having this fight in the Cowboy stadium?

Dana might be crazy but he ain't stupid. This isn't a situation like Jones/Silva, Hendo/Sonnen where both parties have been verbal about not wanting to fighting eachother. Both GSP/Silva want to challenge eachother. GSP is not being bullied into fighting Silva nor is Silva stalking GSP like Vader chasing Skywalker.

Your facts are either wrong or outdated. When have you ever known GSP to look past any of his current opponents? When I look at the video above and look at the actions of Joe Silva and Dana White I'm inclined to believe they both want this fight.

The UFC wouldn't set themselves up for epic failure based on a false impulse. Logistically it doesn't make sense...

I am pretty sure tomorrow night if GSP wins and Rogan hops in the ring for the post fight interview (and you know he will) I am pretty sure GSP will agree to fight Silva.

Notice I said "agree" and not "call out".

I can't believe you didn't see this video already. You are the man when it comes to fetching MMA news. Even if you didn't believe anything in the video had merit why wouldn't you question GSP simply saying, "No I don't want this fight".

- Shogun said no to Glover
- Weidman said no to Belcher
- Hendo and Sonnen aren't fighting eachother
- Silva and Jones both said no
- Jones said no to Chael (initially)
- Kongo just recently said no to Roy Nelson.

That doesn't bother you that GSP hasn't come out and expressed similiar disinterest?

Dana White Drops Big News - Youtube

I think a lot of you guys are overreacting to this Anderson holding out for a year. Dana seems to figure he can make the GSP fight for May, which would obviously mean Anderson is not going to be taking the year off. Of course Dana's word is anything but consistent, I'm taking a wait and see how this plays out approach.

RH:

For the record, I do not disagree with the idea that Anderson has become a diva nor would I defend him for taking the year off and basically holding the middleweight title hostage. I do recognize that Anderson is a pretty special, one of a kind talent though. Somebody I'm willing to throw down cold hard cash to watch. As such, I have a bit more patience in dealing with the diva in him. I don't blame him for being uninterested with fighting a relatively unknown fighter in Chris Weidman. In my opinion, Chris has not been properly promoted by the UFC as I think they were caught a little off guard with his performance against Munoz. They missed out on an opportunity to showcase him on the biggest fight card of the year that was UFC 148 and instead buried him on the limited audience of FuelTV. He needs another fight or two to build his name to the point where he's viewed as the number one contender by more than just the internet mma fan boys. If by ducking Weidman, you mean to say Anderson is uninterested in fighting him, fine. If you are inferring that Anderson is afraid to face Weidman, then I can't disagree with you more.

Well said and hell if I was Silva I wouldn't care too much for Weidman until I see him beat another high caliber talent that would put his name on the map like Vitor, Sonnen, Henderson hell even Chael.

Beating a raggedy ass Munoz and having less fights than Silva has title defenses doesn't impress me. He has some quality wins but he hasn't taken the long road and paid his dues like the other names mentioned. Hell Tim Boestch has a better claim to being the number 1 contender than Weidman does based on his resume and experience alone.

Atleast Tim has had over 20 fights but still not even he has had to fight guys like Stann, Henderson and Sonnen. I believe that is something that should be worth mentioning when you talk about Tim or Weidman.

Neither of these two have beaten the whose who of the mw division. Its my suspicion that people just want to see Silva fight another wrestler with avg strinking. They have this belief that only a wrestler can beat Silva and its rather obvious when you look at a compilation of the comments here on this board.

If Silva and Weidman ever did fight I promise you they would look for the next available wrestler before demanding he move up a weight class or two to fight Jones or Cain V.

That is how much Silva/Soares (since some can't distinguis the two) are hated. I would put money down that even if Silva fought and beat Weidman people here wouldn't give him his props. Instead they would say shit like, "about time he stopped ducking him".

To me the man is in a "catch 22" when it comes to the opinions of his detractors. It's damn if he does or damn if he doesn't.

The number of fights that a fighter has is NOT a qualification for whether or not that fighter has a title shot. History proves that. This is just another one of your rationalizations for Anderson's inability to do wrong in your eyes.

Who else in the middleweight division has TWO top 5 wins in a row?

Do your googling and search through the fight finders and come back with an answer.
