So, this just happened.
And it's quite embarrassing.

I actually enjoyed the fight, although, alex has definitely declined in ability over the past 8 years.

Alexander has a horrid top game. I know Monson is a good grappler, but get a underhook. Not a bad fight. Good north south choke by Monson.

For the first couple minutes, I thought they were acting. Good for Monson, but he seems to have gone downhill as well. Aleks has always gone downhill.

On a side note, if it had gone to the judges, they may have had to score tats.

Can we all just agree to officially rename the north/south choke the Monson Choke?

Jeff Monson looking embarrassingly amateur in that first round. What were with those punches that went into attempted takedowns?
It's just saddening to Alexs lost to him.
