Try to think of ANY other contender in ANY other division that had to go through such a gauntlet or warriors....Ill save everybody some time and say there is none.
In one of the other threads I posted every other WWs contender road and even GSP himself didnt have such a tough road to the title.
Johnny Hendricks is without a doubt the rightful #1 contender at WW. It makes Zero sense for him to have to fight anybody else.
Shit If I was JH and they did GSP/AS next Id wait it out. Whats he going to do, fight Nick Diaz coming off a lost in his contender fight? Or Carlos Condit coming of a lost in his title fight? And if either one of those guys win
they get the title shot?
A 3 fight win streak over top 10s-5s is something that Champs are currently doing, No other contenders.
