I should have elaborated and explained where that was coming from. Both Diaz brothers are very talented. However, I find their attitudes outside of the cage to be extremely disrespectful towards their opponents, the athletic commissions, the UFC and the fans. For this reason, I find them to be very bad for the sport. I could not have agreed more with Diego.

I think Diego has a shot against either Diaz. I can see him beating Nate and maybe even getting a decision over Nick. I think the odds are that Nick would win, but the way Diego gets right in his opponents face and goes for it, he could give Nick some trouble. I think Nick and Diego are better than they used to be, but Nick's boxing is the factor that puts him over Diego IMO. I think you have to steamroll Nick to beat him or do what Condit did.

Really?

How?

I had their first fight a draw, and Diego has gotten progressively worse since that fight, where Diaz has gotten much, much better.

I think it's a pretty clear attempt to get a fight with Nick. I don't have Sanchez as a top 10 WW--maybe not even top 15, I'd have to think about it--so I don't think he'd be even getting a top 10 opponent, never mind a top 5.

Again, I just don't see any way he's going to win. He was able to eke out the last round against Ellenberger based on Jake's cardio...but he's not going to get that opportunity against Nick.

I think a lot of people hate Diaz's behavior so much that they pretend he's a mediocre fighter. He isn't.

If anything, I'd give Diego a rematch with Kampmann. They're both coming off losses, it gives an opportunity to put some of the controversy of their first fight to rest.

Love Diego, but I think Nick takes it this time. Unless this "Dream" turns back into the Nightmare.
