Weidman and most everyone felt he was the #1 contender, but as a fighter he had to put that aside and prepare for the bout.

Of course he has answered some questions truthfully in the dozens of interviews that come with his position in the division. Those reporters made the same articles that make you think he has an entitlement complex, when in reality that's not how he has acted in the past or is presently acting.

If you have this distorted view of him as a spoiled brat, I would say that's in your head.

Yeah, it's amazing how beating three top 10 in a row--one of them at top 3--and then being announced as the #1 contender can inflate a guy's ego and make him think he's entitled to an actual title shot.

The nerve of that punkassed sonofa.

If he goes out there and keeps winning, he'll get his damn shot.

There's actually no guarantee of that, when the champion has stated he has no interest in facing him.

three top ten contenders?! tom lawlor was ever top ten?! lmao. and meh on demian maia.....thats why he fights at ww now.

well, apparently i am just one of the few that am not overely impressed with the kid yet. the only fight i thought he looked real awesome in was munoz. i just think he could use another fight or two before he gets a title shot, or is dubbed "#1 contender". i know he is just doing his job or whatever.

i can see both fighters point of view. anderson has been destroying the division the last several years, against a lot of guys who have probably not had any business being in the cage with him. i dont blame him for not wanting this fight right now, and honestly i dont want to see it. i have no problem with anderson going with what he feels more of a challenge, against tougher copetition.....or against "more accomplished fighters" being gsp or bones. i think he has earned that.

lets see if ol' chrissy can make it through the likes of the talent, beotsch, or bisping and then we'll talk
