Bisping is on point whether you like him or not. Anderson doesn't really want to test himself anymore, he sees gsp as an easy fight. The way Silva's going, I really doubt he will renew or extend his current contract.

GSP has always been the fight he wanted 1st before Jon Jones even hit the scene. They were suppose to fight after UFC 117. Jon Jones wasn't even the champion then.

Silva already mentioned that he has plans of fighting GSP 1st then possibly Jones if thats what Dana wants. Silva really doesn't belong in the same cage with Jon Jones kinda like Jon Jones doesn't belong in the same cage with JDS (atleast right now).

Others may be in denial about this but size really does matter... and Jones is a big mofo.

And kind of like GSP doesn't belong in the cage with Silva. You must have forgot to add that part in. It's ok I'll do it for you.

Of course Silva would want to fight the smaller guy and then maybe possibly
fight the bigger guy. Honestly he's moved up to 205 twice now and also has victories over Chael and Vitor both whom did and will challenge for the LHW. He wouldn't need it but another victory over somebody like Rampage or Shogun would solidify him as the #1 contender at that weight, superfight or no superfight. That would be his biggest payday and the biggest boost to his legacy.

As for the OP:

For once I agree with Bisping 100%, the guy is dead on with his perception of this whole situation.

The idea of a "true number one contender" is the stupidiest MMA idea to be perpetuated by fans and media, EVER.
