I do my fair share of Bisping bashing on here, so this is gonna feel weird to say, but I agree with him. Not so much on being the number one contender thing, but on everything else he said.
I'm sure he's not the only fighter with these frustrations. These super fights hold up 2 divisions and make everyone play the waiting game. It's almost selfish. Not only do the immediate contenders have to wait, but all other potential contenders also get caught in the log jam and either end up waiting or losing their own momentum/contender-ship. All of which loses them valuable $$$ that they need more than GSP or Silva at this point.
These super fights would do more harm then good and they really aren't even necessary at this point because there's still plenty of contenders in both divisions. If you're a champion, your responsibility should be to defend that belt against the most worthy contender in your division. Stop fucking around and do your job, cause everyone else is doing theirs.
