SF was for pro fighters now TUF if for the beginners.
My thought on SF after they were forced to keep it they still felt the need to get showtime out of the picture.

He can't possibly be disappointed. This must have been what he was expecting to happen since he started dismantling the roasted from day one. It was only a matter of time before this happened

I'm sorry but people are still trying to see the UFC like the NFL.....It's not a good comparison. Hell Bellator is more like the NFL with their tournament format and "sports" approach to determination the #1 Contender. Zuffa is in the "sports entertainment" business just like the WWE only their fights are real. They have the most popular brand, but not the most sports like format. Hell they can also start to be compared to Boxing the way they go about their ranking system. Don't get me wrong, I will always be a UFC fan, but I evolved into more of a MMA fan by watching different leagues and coming to realize that Talent is Talent no matter what letters are on a fighter's gloves. Does the UFC have the best fighters, logically they should, but of course they will only ever compete against other fighters in the UFC so that's a bit hard to actually prove.....

In addition to the investigation Sniggles posted, there were two other factors at work with the PRIDE deal: the first being that the UFC got absolutely FUCKED on that deal, as in utterly taken to the cleaners and given a product worth pennies on the dollar that they paid for it. Zuffa thought they'd be getting individual fighter contracts [ne: Fedor] and got the shaft instead. So they were bitter about paying 30x more than they should have for essentially boils down to rights to a video catalogue. The second issue was that the Yakuza was so deeply embedded in the distribution rights, that it was virtually impossible for them to do business in Japan at that point.

Thank God they did not kept PRIDE alive, because ZuffaPride would be a huge insult to the original Pride FC.
Their ways of doing business are very very different in every aspect.

Pride was not perfect, sometimes they also did some stupid things like putting prowrestlers that could not even throw a proper legkick against pro fighters. And many of those fights were painfully boring to watch. But other than that, Pride was great. Dana/Zuffa would have absolutely ruined it. So in that sense, it is good that they simply killed it, because we can remember Pride as the Greatest org ever, and not like an org that used to be the greatest and then turned into garbage.

The fact that you even brought this up says a lot about you especially considering I have went on record to defend Nate/Nick and Brock Lesnar. Your little accussation is highly flawed especially when there is a small pool of black fighters to choose from to begin with LOL.

The unification bouts were a big enough debacle to make me glad it was dead. Handing out PRIDE belts to a fight fought in a cage, with unified rules...bad idea from the start.

I have the obligation to be a fan of that bald douchebag?
He has done some good things for the sport, but at the same time it is disgraceful that somebody like him is the main face of MMA.

He constantly rants and acts like a teen during "that time of the month".
He talks shit about any fighter and org outside Zuffa.
He talks shit about his own fighters, he talks shit about the fans that pay him money.
He contradicts himself all the time, he lies all the time, he makes promises and he fails to fulfill them.
He gives title shots to people that do not deserve them. He has been making many mismatches lately.
He gives a lot of money for extremely stupid reasons (Posting on Twitter).
When something bad happens, he blames someone else. (The whole UFC 151 fiasco)

Why should I be a fan of him??

If you are going to tell me something like "Oh because he brought UFC to Fox, he is bringing UFC to new countries each year, the roster has many great fighters" etc etc. then I simply answer you that that is his fucking job!!
He is simply doing his job. In one month he receives more money than we will receive in our whole life.

And it is not either that he is the best businessman ever.
He talks all the time about how he gives fans the fights they wanna see. Well there are tons of fights we want/wanted to see that never happened and will never happen.
He has been unable to legalize MMA in some states. He was unable to sign some great fighters. If it was not for the Ferttitas and their idea of TUF (which Dana heartedly rejected at the beginning) then the uFC would be dead now.

And after all this, you are surprised that I show no support for him!!

So stop supporting products that he endorses if you have this much disdain for him. We have heard it before Dana White is the son of Satan yadda yadda yadda.

You are starting to whine more than some admins here in regards to UFC/DW.
