You.

Yeah, you've been a fan for 21 years and they had 4 super bowl titles by then. More than any other team I'm pretty sure. What a coincidence.

So instead of rooting for the Cowboys who were in the midst of one of the strongest Super Bowl runs in the history of the NFL ('92, '93, '95), and my hometown team, I choose a team that were on it's last legs with the team it had (Young, Rice) and won 1 Super Bowl in '94?

Since you STILL don't have a clue what bandwagon jumper really means, I'll help you out....

Urban Dictionary: bandwagon jumper

Quote:
A bandwagon jumper is someone who changes from one team/political party to the other.

jump on the bandwagon - Wiktionary

Quote:
(idiomatic) To profit from a craze; to join a trend.
Bandwagon | Define Bandwagon at Dictionary.com

Quote:
a party, cause, movement, etc., that by its mass appeal or strength readily attracts many followers:
Bandwagon effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If I were a bandwagon jumper, I would be a fan of the hot NFL team right now, I would be rooting for the Packers or the Saints when they won the Super Bowl. I would of stopped being a Mavericks fan and joined the Lakers or the Heat.

Are you understanding you misspoke?

Well you said 21 years and that would be 1991. 49ers won championships in 88 and 89. That's pretty close...

I don't really think I misspoke though because you can stay on the same bandwagon for as long as you want. Once a bandwagon fan, always a band wagon fan. The wagon doesn't just deteriorate because you've been on it so long, it stays a wagon.

I was 5 and 6 in those years.

No you don't stay on the wagon for as long as you want. I literally just showed you that that is completely wrong.

You jump from team to team as long as they are the 'hot' team. That is BY DEFINITION bandwagon jumper.

I am a fan. End of story.

It never says anything in those links about jumping off the bandwagon. It just says something about when you JOIN them. It says you join a team when they are doing very good. And apparently you became a fan 2 years after they had won 2 consecutive super bowls. You just haven't jumped ship in a while.

I'm just fucking with you anyways though. It just seems like you only wanted to like another really good team to combat your families' like for the Cowboys, at least the way you put it made it seem like that.

I was 7 or so at the time. I just knew they played each other a lot. I liked their team colors and that was literally the extent of my thought process at the time.

I didn't begin to understand their history until much later.

Greatest franchise in all of sports! I disagree with you on just about everything except the 49ers, Collin or Alex?

I'm highly upset at the way the switch was made. I'm a member on another forum so you can see the thread I made here:

Anyone else feel Alex Smith is getting boned in SF? SF setting themselves up to fail? - Blowout Cards Forums

Kaep is exciting, he's young, a stud, etc, etc, etc. I just feel that pulling Alex who has truly blossomed under Harbaugh these last 2 years, he shouldn't of been pulled midseason and should of been allowed to come back after his injury.

I've never been a fan of a player losing his job due to injury, I've been extremely impressed by Collin, but I was also singing Alexs praises before he went down to injury, I feel Collin is our best chance for the long term to win a few superbowls. I hope they can get something good for Alex in the offseason.

With the management actively pursuing Peyton in the off-season and now this, I think the relationship between Alex and the Niners is fractured.
