| Alessio Sakara not granted opportunity to appeal DQ loss to Patrick Cote Alessio Sakara not granted opportunity to appeal disqualification loss to Patrick Cote Quote:
Sakara’s camp wasted little time coming forward to oppose the ruling, disputing referee Dan Miragliotta’s take about issuing multiple warnings and asking for the loss to be changed to a No Contest. However, it looks like their efforts were in vain, as the athletic commission in Quebec has ruled that Sakara cannot contest an arbitrator’s decision.
News of the matter was first reported by Canadian outlet LaPresse.

He shouldn't be able to appeal. The illegal shots couldn't have been more blatant. As for Dan Mirgoliatta not issuing "multiple warnings," he shouldn't have to. The rules are explained before the fight, and if you break them, you have to face the consequences.

Who cares, it's Alessio Sakara...and whether or not this loss gets appealed-chances are he will get knocked the fuck out in his next fight, since that's usually what happens...and it's not like he has long in the UFC before he gets cut anyways (hopefully) so I don't see why it would matter.
It's hilarious when the only way you can win a fight is by smashing someone in the back of the head a shitload of times as hard as you possibly can...
