You're welcome to your perception, but I'd think his job is to improve his product, not pick low-hanging fruit.
While I think some fans want to see the superfight, I think others want to see the UFC continue to evolve, want to see MMA continue to be legitimized and to realize it's full potential.
This superfight would do none of those things. Think about all the ridiculously dumb things boxing-or-die fools say about MMA right now: it's gay, it's cockfighting, etc. All of them are easily dismissed.
But they'd be able to legitimately say that the guy who is promoted as the very best MMA has to offer if declining to fight anyone but a guy who fights in a weight class below him right now. They'd be correct in saying it.
That's unfortunate, in my opinion.

Integrity is two fighters fighting cause they both think there the best and want to be considered the GOAT!!!

Neither would be considered the GOAT after this bout. Certainly NOT Anderson if it happens and he wins. When two guys of equal skill fight, the bigger guy is
supposed to win. That's the way size works.
In this instance, I wasn't referring to individual integrity. I was referring to the integrity of the belt, of the organization as a whole.
