Anderson Silva coach: Key to beating Jon Jones hasn't been seen

In an interview with Sherdog, Distak looked past the superfight with GSP that Silva is pusuing, and discussed a superfight that is even bigger in every way - Anderson Silva vs. UFC Lightheavyweight champion Jon Jones.

To Distak, the strategy to beat Jon Jones is unknown, because no one has put the former JUCO national champion on his back.

"Actually, we have not seen Jon Jones on his back,” said Distak. “Vitor [Belfort] got his arm; he had the opportunity. Actually Jones is unpredictable. To me the strategy to do a fight with him would involve finding out how he fights on his back."

It's an interesting question to ponder. I do hope chael is able to make a bit of a dogfight out of it before he goes down. I'd like to see sonnen work some of his game so we can get a good look at one of the last places that we haven't seen jones. I am sure he will be fine off his back but I'd just like to see it for myself.

Jones is going to crush Sonnen like a grape. I can't even see Sonnen taking Jones down and if he does I can't see Sonnen keeping him down.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Jones pulled guard on Sonnen with 1 minute left in the 3rd round to show off his Jujitsu game a little bit and try to prove a point.

He has made it a habbit to do something unexpected at the end of each round in his past fights: ie, pulling guard on Evans, going for a kneebar on Shogun, going for a double on Rampage and following through after the bell. I actually expect Jones to pull guard in this fight atleast 1 time.
