The United Center in Chicago, Illinois will play home to a pair of returning welterweights at UFC on Fox 6 on January 26 as Pascal Krauss and Mike Stumpf meet in the Octagon.
Krauss (10-1) returns for the first time since UFC on Fox 3 in May, where he lost a unanimous decision to John Hathaway. The German fighter is was slated to welcome Gunnar Nelson to the Octagon in September, but was pulled from the bout due to a rib injury. “Panzer” has been largely inactive since his UFC debut, which saw him take a unanimous decision over Mark Scanlon at UFC 122 in 2010.
Mike Stumpf (11-3) hasn’t seen action since September of last year. The Team Curran product is looking to rebound from a submission loss to T.J. Waldburger at UFC Fight Night 25. The Illinois native was on a 5-1 run before coming to the UFC.
