Frankie will beat Aldo. Aldo has never faced anyone like Frankie before - ever so highly skilled and well rounded, and a heart like no other fighter I have ever seen fight before. I am a huge Frankie fan.

Aldo better work on that defensive wrestling, bc lw gots a lot of strong wrestlers. I hope Edgar wins but idk, its a solid match up (although I don't like Edgar getting a shot coming off 2 losses).

Aldo is the biggest reason all this silva/gsp for p4p greatest is nothing but babble. Jose is right on the same level as the two of them. He's absolutely wrecked a who's who at 145, and frankie will be one more name on the list after this. Edgar has heart, but he wont get up after getting rocked like he did against Maynard. Aldo is waay too good of a finisher for that.

Hopefully Frankie can defend/counter the leg kicks of Aldo otherwise it could be a long night for him. I think Frankie gives Aldo some problems if he can though he is constantly getting better and he'll be able to use his wrestling more effectively seen as he's not giving up the size difference like he was against Maynard, Bendo and BJ.

Anyone with half a brain and the gift of sight knows that those judges were wrong.

If Aldo beats Edgar, there is absolutely no question in that he should move to LW.
I can imagine the future of both guys with a win over the other. If Jose Aldo beats Edgar, it would be the turning point of his UFC career. He will hopefully relinquish the FW title and join the ranks at LW, sending a warning shot upon his entrance. He would be in a very interesting position at this point considering his next step. A win over Edgar would catapult him to where he belongs as he is an exceptional fighter that needs to be recognized.
On the other hand, if Edgar beats Aldo, he would be overcoming the odds again and upsetting the FW kingpin in Jose Aldo, becoming the 2nd FW champion in UFC history. Defeating Aldo is gold in itself. It would jumpstart his career and redeem him from his last two losses (which were BS, IMO). The future would be bright for him at FW.
I feel bad for the man who loses. A loss in this fight will be as detrimental to their career as a win would be positive.
