This is a super fight that we have been looking for. Lets hope Aldo is at his best and the injury is fully healed and neither get injured again.


I still cant believe that some people had Frankie winning the first Bendo fight.

Let's just hope it's not a close fight last thing we need is for Frankie to have to do another rematch.

I can see Aldo getting a rematch though if he loses.

i love the zombie, but in no way (even with this being frankie's first 145lb fight) can you say he's ahead of edgar in anyway..

frankie is a VERY small lightweight and has beat 3 top 5 lw's in his career. he's only lost by decision in each of his losses.

zombie's most impressive win is against poirier and he was ktfo'd by roop (who's also lost his last 2). you can't compare that to beating bj penn, gray maynard, sean sherk and jim miller. you just can't.

for frankie to drop down and immediately get the title shot (especially coming off a controversial decision to the #1lw in the world) makes absolute sense. by his accomplishments he deserves to fight for the belt right away. there's no one else at 145 that even comes close to aldo right now...

Controversial or not (I think he won the last fight but that's moot) he has lost his last two title shots in a row. That alone to me is not a reason to get a title shot esp when changing weight classes. Jung has won his last 3 in a row and don't forget he destroyed Hominick in 7 seconds and Hominick gave Aldo a hell of a fight at the end. I like Frankie but he should have to make his way to a title shot. I'm grumpy about this just like I am about Sonnen somehow weaseling his way into a shot at Jones. I'll watch the fights, maybe I'll watch Sonnen and Jones but I'm damn well going to watch Frankie and Aldo but I don't think he should be fighting for title.

Were you ok with Koch getting the shot? His best win in his 4 fight win streak was against Brookins as far as I'm concerned...just sayin.
