Ok, I'm getting kind of sick of hearing about this possible fight. All we're hearing from both sides is reasons that they won't fight. I don't want to see this fight bad enough to listen to all of the bullshit.

GSP needs to fight Hendricks. Silva needs to fight the winner of Boetsch/Weidman. If they both pass those respective tests, then maybe their divisions will be cleared out enough for a catchweight fight to make sense.

Nope much like last time there will be another excuse or contender lined up. The time to do it is now and if GSP refuses and prefers to get KTFO by Hendricks thats his call but we can still see potential superfights against Rockhold or Diaz.

Weidman is injured and irrelevant right now and Tim is fighting a nobody (not that casual fans care about any of the two right now).

If Anderson really wants this fight he should agree to 170lbs and then miss weight. If I'm St. Pierre though I want 20% of his total fight purse PPV bonus included not just his to show/win purse.

No one should ever plan to miss weight. Silva would run the risk of GSP declining a catchweight fight (which he has already done) and the fight would be cancelled all together. That wouldn't be good for anyone.

i dont see how fighting at 177 is a big deal, going down another 7 ounds to gsp's weight division cannot be easy or healthy its in addition to the weight cut he is already pursuing to get from his reg weight to 185 and then somemore, i think the anthony johnsons of the world have you guys spoiled, its really just a matter of how bad gsp wants the fight at this point anderson is offering a reasonable concession
