This is the same way Anderson received the p4p #1 title too.
Silva already paid his dues before even coming to the UFC. However because he wasn't fighting in the UFC noone gave a rats ass about him or knew who he was. He basically came in like Rampage Jackson.
Bisping has like 27 fights or so going against guys like Dan Henderson, Chael Sonnen, Wanderlei Silva, Rashad Evans, Dennis Kang. Whose to say Weidman wouldn't have gotten beaten by any of the names listed.
All I am saying is Weidman dodged a lot of bullets to get where he is and I'm willing to bet his record would look more like Tim Bo's had he paid his dues.

If anybody has had great opportnities given it's Bisping, but he LOST or NO DEC.
Go to wiki look at Tim Bo's record, look at Bisping's record then look at Chris Weidmans. All that work that Bisping has put in should pay off and not be discarded or dismissed because he didn't get to fight Maia and Munoz.
Now if he beats Belfort its going to be hard for anyone to deny his contendership.

Hey this is the trend Dana and Co. set when they gave Sonnen a tittle shot just for running his mouth. This is gonna be the new norm in the UFC, make as much noise as possible and get high profile fight. It's the UFC way....

This is a thread about Bisping, not Weidman. Let it go, you child.

Like Rampage? You clearly know nothing about Pride and it's history with UFC, particularly the Liddell/Rampage fights...
Basically, they're both black so you like them and assume they have the same history.

Both Bisping and Tim Bo have lost only 4 fights. In regards to Bisping look who he lost to for crying out loud. Weidman would probably lose to Sonnen, Wanderlei, Henderson and Rashad to. We will never know since he got put in bouts with contenders he didn't deserve to fight.

Please punch yourself in the face for half assed reading. Both Rampage and Silva came into the UFC as relative unknowns to casual UFC fans. This is no secret to anyone.
Only you would disagree with that something that even Rampage Jackson said in posted interviews.... Let me guess you don't follow his interviews because hes black and knocked out Liddel?
See how I just shoved that racism back up your ass? Does it hurt? K thx
