| Team Lizbo asks Dana White for first title shot at Rousey Team Lizbo asks Dana White for first title shot at Rousey Quote:
The always awesome Aaron Tru caught up with the always awesome Liz Carmouche, who is asking UFC President Dana White to let her have the first shot at Female UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.
Highlight from the interview include:
•I want to be a part of history, in the UFC, fighting Ronda Rousey for the title.
•There are hurdles and adversity I have gone through that people haven’t - Ronda hasn’t experienced the difficulties of my life and never will.
•I had a chance once against Marloes…I may have lost, but it was a learning experience…I’m ready for a championship bout again.
•I train non stop all the time…that dedication has to be there…this is a way of life.
•Ronda is not a person whose submisisons you can power out of; I have to use traditional escapes or not get caught in the first place.
•I have teammates jump my back and arm bar me, because I didn’t have a mom like Ronda who would wake me up with an arm bar.
•Carmouche also agrees with Rousey about having as much sex as possible prior to a fight; citing that sex will naturally lower your estrogen level, while increasing your testosterone.
•Liz credits her Coach Manny for coming up with Team Lizbo….The Lizbo fan base is strong.

I like this! No one seems to be up for calling out Rhonda. I have been watching Liz for a couple of years. I think she gets owned, but big props to her for stepping UP!

I know very little about WMMA. Looking forward to seeing it as part of the UFC though.
Though I know enough to say that anyone who calls out Rousey, has, uh... balls?

I think only Cyborg and McMann have chances of beating Rousey. All the rest would lose quickly by armbar.

Cyborg is a pretty big 145er, having difficulty making weight and having missed before and I think we'll have to wait some time for ZUFFA to establish Rousey as a credible champion before they pay her bigmoney to jump up in weight and take Cyborg, which even then, I'm not too sure ZUFFA trusts her....
IMO, Coenen is the only credible challenger at the moment until McMann gets more seasoning under her belt.

I would definitely like to see them fight at 145 if 135 can't happen, but if Rousey wants it to be at 135 then...
