Right but way back when this was going on it was actually some crazy figure that people were bsing about and not 500k a fight. I am comparing that situation to this situation. You really think someone from GSP's camp is going to rat him out on this? You think a bunch of people would actually know the figure GSP even wants?

He more than likely would ask for a higher cut of the % of PPV buys that he already gets anyway and not some flat figure.

Hendo asked for a large sum of money or a reduced amount with the stipulation of a rematch with Anderson Silva as history and all of the articles of the past have led me to believe. This was 2009, if I remember correctly right after Henderson landed the big KO on Bisping in what was supposed to be a number 1 contender matchup.

Personally, I think that Dana White was pulling for Bisping to win, as Bisping has:

A. Never had a title shot.
B. Would have exponentially increased the UFC's European exposure.

Anyhow, in that time Ed Soares said anything he could to get out of Hendo/Silva II and that matchup disappeared...

Soon after...

Dan Henderson left to Strikeforce.

Dan Henderson wanted to be paid commenserate to where he was in his career but he also felt shafted, that is why he was demanding such a large pay increase. I read that it ranged from 400-600k to show on top of an undisclosed PPV%.

I have seen that interview, and I think he is just being a good company man. I can sense irritation in GSP everytime anyone ever brings up him fighting Silva..........does anyone else sense this too?

Silva wouldn't fight anyone else at WW........what would be the point?

Now SIlva vs Diaz at MW........now there's a fight I'd love to see.
