I'm offended by people who are offended, thus by your rules, you must cease to exist.
Eddie Murphy, Dave Chapplle, Damon Wayans, all had comedy skits playing a homeless person. Now it's a big deal? 3 decades worth of homeless jokes and people are mad at Dana White? LOL.
FYI, I was flipping through the channels last week and saw Dr. Phil doing a show on treatment of the homeless in Las Vegas, saying people treat them like dirt. They had one of their guys pretend to be homeless, some were nice, some told him to get a job. Regardless, he made a little over 20 bucks an hour begging for money. That's more than I make.

Can somebody make me a list of things it is still o.k. to make jokes about so I don't offend anyone?
I'll go ahead and assume it'll be a pretty damn short list.

I don't have a strong opinion one way or another about this.
I thought the full video was funny, overall.
On a related note, is it just me or do you find that overall, the same people who tend to use sentences like 'stop being so sensitive, you pussies' or any derivative of this, are usually the same people who get the most worked up when they're offended by something?
This has nothing to do with anything, but I just saw it and can't stop laughing. NSFW!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=D_uTqp4gifE |

People just got mad because it was Dana White and people hate Dana White.
You gotta quit taking Dana seriously! If David Stern dressed up as a homeless guy then maybe its something news worthy, but when the guy who says "fuck" every other word does it and holy shit how disrespectful? It was a joke, he's Dana White so when he does something that people could think is dumb, who cares.

People have already pointed out that it's the context of the photo/video that changes the perception. Once I saw the video, I realized that Dana was poking fun of himself and playing along in the skit. It was mildly funny, good for a chuckle and pretty harmless. When I first saw the picture without context, it certainly looked like it was done in poor taste.

I take things differently when they come from comedians. I didnt say I was outraged or even upset by this, I just said it kindve irks me. Dana isn't Dave chappelle, hell he isn't even Dane Cook (who is just absolutely HORRIBLE....criminally unfunny), he is the president of a multibillion dollar company who finds it funny to mock homeless people. Context is everything, imo this was poorly done. Fact is, all topics are fair game in comedy, but not everyone who wants to joke around is funny.

This man actually looks for ANY petty reason he can make up to fine players, coaches, teams. I've read he makes upwards of $20million a year!

So if one of his fighters did this, he'd might get suspended and Dana ripping him a new asshole, hell maybe even fired.......wow hypocrisy at it's finest. Under this kind of "Leadership" it's impossible for the UFC to stay on top of the MMA mountain forever. Eventually a more professional org will knock them off. Right now the UFC big wigs don't think anyone can come close to touching the UFC, shit like this screams arrogance....It may take 10 years, but if a company does it right they can go further than the UFC just by avoiding mistakes made by Dana and the other orgs who went out of business.

A rich businessman - especially a president of a billion dollar corporation - portraying a homeless guy while harmless still comes off as pompous anyway you look at it. It's nothing that should ruin your day, but it shows the level of class that he has.
