Coming from a Canadian and someone that really doesn't like BJ at all, I was really hoping that Penn KTFO'd him in the 3rd. Rory is a clown, he couldn't finish a hurt BJ Penn and he gassed hard and practically did nothing for 1 1/4 rounds. This is the same garbage that Rashad does that people hate him for and if you're going to go out of your way to do that then don't be crying later on that no one has respect for you.
I went from a big Rory supporter to the complete opposite over night, he won't be champion because he can't make it past round 2 and hes instantly turned into an arrogant prick.

I used to hate Rashad because of his in-cage showboating. But since the Machida loss, he has become much more humble/likable.
Rory lost me as a fan after he pulled that crap last night.
I don't hate every type of showboating, but when you have a guy completely outclassed... it shows lack of class.

Iv always been impressed with Rory...
But I still dont think he is there just yet... He will be someday, but not now IMO...
His entire game is good... His standup, wrestling, ground, transitions, etc... but is he great at any one aspect? Not in my mind...
I still think some of the top wrestlers could out wrestle him to a decison and if he chose to stand with a top striker like Condit, he gets put out.

Then you complain about him doing nothing for a round... what was his opponent doing the whole fight?
Now people are bitching him out cause he did the Ali Shuffle? Sad.

^^ yeah Nate giving the double finger and flexing for the camera is acceptable show boating. It's just being an asshole dancing in front of someone who is clearly hurt and gassed. Spend less energy dancing and more finishing Rory 'Robot' Macdonald

Although I think he could hang with Condit on the feet (Especially if he keeps improving like he has between fights). He's still improving, picking up new things, I think others could out wrestle him too honestly. I honestly thought his striking was lacking, but last night showed me the kid has worked on it big time. I look forward to seeing how much he keeps improving.

He had some success, but most of it was due to him being on top of Carlos and his takedown threat to begin with.
I also thought his striking needed some improvement, and it did look a lot better last night, his boxing was on point, and he landed some good kicks...
We know BJ has good TDD and takedowns of his own... but there are a lot of great wrestlers at WW that could give Rory problems that are better technical wreslters, bigger, stronger, more explosive, etc.
It will be interesting to see Rory's next fight. Lets hope he fights soon like he said he wanted to.
