Fighters from Canada getting fights in Canada could it be do to they have free health care there? Can someone from Canada answer that.
If so is that a way for Zuffa to save a buck?

I don't get why this isn't on a future FOX card in 2013. Seems to have all the markings of a barnburner and they could really "sell" the rematch/revenge backstory.

Cant really sell a Canada card without top billing. The UFC doesnt have the luxury like they do with brazilian fighters. Outside of GSP, there isnt another main event worthy fighter. Rory is being groomed to become one and best way to do it is to sell him to the Canadian crowd.

The UFC can use guys like Shogun and Machida for Fox cards and come back the following month and use guys like Anderson and Big Nog to sell to the Brazilian fans.

WoW Hendricks must be really pissed now cause now he is really going to be screwed. Rory vs Condit. Diaz vs GSP and Fitch vs Mia. Who does that leave Hendricks to fight? He already beat Kos and Kampman and all the other conteders are booked.

The UFC doesn't need a Canadian fighter to draw in Canada, MMA is huge here in Canada.

Just look at UFC 140, UFC 131, UFC 115, UFC 113 and UFC 97....all in Canada, all without Canadian main event draws.

Pretty sure Rory doesn't care how many rounds it is. He asked for this fight and and is very motivated. Funny how when Rory was launching Nate with suplexes in the third round, nobody was questioning his endurance. Rory's cardio is no less suspect than Condit's takedown defense.

I like both guys and am looking forward to this one.

I've actually never thought about it. That is a really good point though. The Canadian fighters would be treated for free for sure. Not sure, but the American fighters might be treated for free too while they're in Canada.
