I doubt he would decline... he knows at some point he will be fighting 5 rounders and he wants the rematch so much he'd do it anyways.

I don't think Condit should have to give Diaz a rematch at this point besides given the choice I'd much rather see Nick have to get by a wrestler first before he gets a title shot.

It's more to do with just using Canadian born fighter and in this case a locally trained fighter to sell cards and ensure the arena fills up. The health care thing is a plus of course for some injuries. Any high level athlete will not will not wait in the line up for any specialized treatments though as they'd be waiting a long time to get in.
