Just fourteen days before his UFC on FOX showdown against Junior dos Santos on November 12, 2011, Bobby Razak set up his cameras in order to prepare for a Dethrone commercial and managed to capture Cain Velasquez tearing his ACL on the training mat. Razak didn't release the video for the obvious reasons, but now over a year later the MMA world is on the verge of another Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez showdown and we thought this video would be highly appropriate leading up to UFC 155.
Now that we know Cain Velasquez defended his title with a torn ACL, did we just change the odds of UFC 155 for every Las Vegas bookie with this video? Check out the clip below and don't forget to follow @BobbyRazak and @Dethrone on Twitter.

I don't want to see more brutal. What would that be? Decapitation?

Mr. MMA News Poster, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone at this forum site is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I actually wanted to start a thread to talk about this fight, but this one will work. I feel like a lot of people are giving a lot of credit to Cain and not enough to JDS.
Cain is a great heavyweight, but there are still a lot of great HWs out there he has not faced, which could pose some problems to him, he struggled to get past Cheick Kongo. So I think that a guy like Struve could be a tough fight for him, both due to his reach and great Jiu-Jitsu. Also a guy like Werdum who is just very well rounded. Im not going to say his record is padded, because he has faced some great fighters, but I think this title shot is not only premature but also very risky for his career, if he loses here it will be a while until someone will want to watch a third fight between him and JDS.
JDS on the other hand does get a lot of praise, but I still feel like he is underestimated at times, I see him as just as much of a great as JBJ but he does not get nearly that sort of recognition. The easiest fight he has in his UFC record is Yvel, but other than that I think he has had one of the toughest roads to the title, beating nothing but legitimate contenders. He has literally annihilated everyone in his path, not one exception, he goes in there and implements his game plan without any trouble at all. As a matter of fact, I don't want to exaggerate here so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but he has only been truly hit (wobbled/caught with a big punch) 3 times, once by Big Country and twice by Shane Carwin and thats about it.
I think Cain could certainly win (anyone can win in any given night), but I really don't he has much of a chance, if he stands with JDS he loses for sure, so he will have to be the first person to be able to take JDS down and keep him there, for 5 rounds. I see JDS taking this win easily with a KO by the end of the 3rd round.
