No the problem is certain JDS fanboys are trying to convince themselves that what happened, didn't actually happen.

It was one of the worst, one sided beatdowns we've seen in a long time, and people are talking down on Cain.

I don't argue the beatdown but from a lot of the responses I read it seems as if people on here think Cain would beat JDS 100 out of 100 times. I think that is pretty disrespectful of JDS and he needs some defending. JDS was stuffing take downs and getting back to his feet in round 5 after taking a massive amount of damage, it really looked like he had more in the tank then Cain did.

On a side note, the more I think about Cormier vs Barnett, the more I think Cormier is going to walk through the entire division. That guy was throwing big punches the entire fight and really seems to have the best gas tank in the HW division by far.

I think that fight showed that JDS is tough as nails, and he showed a lot of heart getting back up after all the abuse and just kept swinging. Cain put in a great performance though. He had a good game plan and he executed it perfectly. On top of that it's not like he didn't try to finish him, he really went all out.

The only think I really questioned about Cain during that fight is, why not look for a submission? It seemed like that didn't even cross his mind during the fight. I get that he's a wrestler and maybe he was more comfortable having top position, but there were several opportunities he could have taken JDS' back or set up some other kind of submission. Just something I noticed....

I don't get it either? JDS is my favorite HW and it happened! lol

That fight was exactly why I joke with my friends that if I ever HAD to pick a fight with one of them it'd be JDS. It'd be over quickly from a punch I likely won't see and I likely wouldn't feel a thing whereas with Cain he's relentless and merciless in there.
