It wasn't just the last press conference. He skipped out on a high profile bjj match not long after that. And on top of this, he's not returning any of his boss's calls or texts? The guy is the furthest thing from reliable. I don't know how he still has a job let alone a title shot.

That said Nick Diaz has a job because he has a large following of fans. People like him because he isn't always saying the right things and whether you like him or not he comes off as authentic. Also being the most exciting entertaining fighter at 170lbs doesn't hurt either.
Dana White knew what he was getting when he brought Nick over from Strikeforce, a weird anti-social, media hating, forever me-first basket case who redefines the term "punches in bunches". As the theme songs goes, you take the good with bad.

The BJJ thing, his opponent didn't make weight on the date they agreed to and there was a bunch of other shenanigans going on as well, at least according to the Diaz camp. So Diaz just said Fuck You very much, but no thanks. Not classy or professional, but he did have a point at least......

If Diaz does screw this fight up somehow, suspend him for a lengthy amount of time and fine him. Because he's obviously is a slow learner. He's a heck of a fighter, but damnit man you've got to toe the line just a little bit...
