Jds just never really found his rhythm or distance. Hurt and all, he still managed numerous times to get back to his feet. Imo it looked more like Jds was tryna have a "feel out" round while the only thing Cain wanted was Jds to feel the leather smashing him in the face.

I've never liked Jds stance with his hands so low. He's gotten away doing it to his last opponents but Cain is one fast relentless dude constantly switching from tds to striking. Couple that with his walking back the whole time and you got yourself a recipe for disaster against Cain.

I am only a fan of immediate rematches if it is a fun filled , razor thin dec. that could have easily gone either way and even then only in title fights. They have both destroyed the other (albeit in vastly different fashions) so a rematch yes but immediate NO. There is too much talent in HW right now and IMO a rematch should be after a win (or loss for that matter) by both guys. Then make it happen.

If Cormier stays at HW, let him fight JDS. If not, let him fight the winner of Hunt/Struve. The thought of JDS and Hunt fighting gives me an excitement-rection.

Its sickening to see all the hate JDS is getting... The guy has dominated every single fight in the UFC before this... Losing to the best HW, who he previously KO'd...

What makes things worse is this exact thing happened when JDS ko'd Cain... People were talking like Cain wasnt shit...

Fickle MMA fans.

I still think they are both the 2 clear best HW's in the world and either can beat the other on any given night.

My wife was going fucking insane. Herb "the best in the business" Dean let JDS grab the fence at least 7 times before warning him.

Dean is a Joke. He may not be a Mazzagatti, but Herb is far from the best ref in MMA.... Rosenthaw is much better.

Agreed.

I was being facetious.

I am not seeing hate by too many. I think there are a few, but mostly it is justifiable disappointment. Other than survive, JDS just didn't perform in any fashion that was expected of him.

He got beat at the stand-game which is his arena. He had pretty good TDD, but showed nothing but confusion and brute resistance on the ground. He may have had the will to survive, but seemed like he lost the will to win after the first TD and gave up on anything else.

Its not hate, just a hugely disappointing performance by a great fighter. He got mauled, just a fact. He is still the No 2 guy in most sane peoples' book.

That fence grabbing came at the worst time too. It's no wonder Cain couldn't finish. JDS crushed Cain's adrenaline rush with some good ol'fashioned cheating.

Even my ol' lady noticed it too.
