Gotta love JDS, no bs excuses why he lost.
While I would love to see Roidreem fight against Cain, I just don't think that he deserves the shot as much as some of the other guys. I personally wouldn't mind an immediate rematch, but with the HW division having so much depth, I don't think JDS will get one, unless the #1 contender pisses hot or gets injured.

To me an immediate rematch would be a waste of a fight that could be built up to be even bigger than the second, in terms of PPV buys and emotional investment from the fans.
We all want to see these guys go at it again, but I think JDS could benefit from one or maybe two more fights before the rematch happens (assuming he wins them). Two more fights for each guy could see them rematch in about a years time, and this is ample time for JDS to work on his wrestling, improve his conditioning no end, add some more awesome highlights to his reel, build his name in the sport with casual fans, and build the fight into something monumental.

No way in hell does JDS deserve an immediate rematch...with that said, Im sure eventually he will get another crack at Velasquez. Like the article says, they're just destined to fight again.
Now that im thinking of it..JDS/Cain could very well be the first trilogy since GSP/Hughes where all three fights were for the title...both are that good.

It's all Mote point.....Overreem will get the shot and destroy Cain, maybe even sub him. I'll be happy to bet anyone on this. He's too strong and too good, he has been for years...

My .40 will be waiting if it does happen (an army experience).
Edit subbing a bunch of 205 people doesn't equal Cain, and yes you are over the line dude, mark it 0.
Double Edit: How do you think Overeem will just absolutely dominate Cain minus the juice. Joe did you see shogun dominate the reem?

Though I will you hadn't beat me to it, Miz. I have to get more into sig bets. Losing to a guy who hasn't been online in months just isn't the same

Although their last fight was highly entertaining, and I really admire JDS as both a fighter and a human being, I feel that it is only right for him to get back in line. Not far down the line, but at least 1 win over a top contender before getting a shot at the title again.

I figure I got good odds:
Possibilities
2 UD
2 SD
1 Draw
2 Sub
2 KO/TKO
2 DQ
Thats like Russian Roulette with twice the odds in my favor.
