No lie...i really think a change in camp would do bj wonders. Theres only so much u can learn in hilo. U see wut the move did for rory. Just imagine bj at 155 with a tristar training camp.

I could see BJ doing it if it wasn't going from Hawaii to Canada. It really just depends on what BJ's mindset is after the last loss. | By those guys, you can't possibly mean GSP and Rory. If you do, then I would say that you are overestimating BJs potential to grow as a fighter.
I can't see BJ doing this though. That would be tough going to train at the gym with guys who absolutely whooped your ass in professional fights. The whole greasegate fiasco, the shit talk with Rory..nah can't see it happening.

BJ will never leave Hawaii and his prime was reached a long time ago. It's downhill from here on out, especially if he continues to fight at WW.
BJ Penn never reached his full potential because he did not round out his training and made poor judgement in taking some of the matchups he did. That said, he is a true warrior that I thank for entertaining me over the years.

This is exactly what I wanted Rampage to do. BJ and Rampage have such amazing talent and they waste it on doing one thing, throwing punches. I think Tristar would make both of them much better well rounded fighters. I can see BJ beating everyone except for Bendo in the LW division, I think he would beat Frankie easy if he was at Tristar.

It may sound good, but it too much of a fantasy imo... Sure anything can happen... but in my view BJ has lost a step...
He has always been a fast guy and in his past 2 fights he didnt have that quickness he used to have, at any point in the fight.... Maybe he will just never be the same...
If he does come back I would much rather it be at LW, but not sure how much he has left... At his very best, he could beat ANY LW's out there, but he simply isnt at that stage in his career imo. Quote:

I do agree that their primary attack and go to plan is their boxing, but they have much more to offer than that... even at their current states... They both need to join a camp like AKA, Blackzilians, etc... I just dont see them doing it at this stage in their careers...
Just imagine how good they could have been if they had done that...

Bj's hooks/uppercuts don't seem to have as much on them as they used to, and his jab isn't as crisp.

I don't see BJ taking him up on the offer, but it certainly is an idea.

it was clear in the mcdonald fight. you wouldn't have noticed it by reading the recaps, but he hit mcdonald frequently throughout the fight with jabs and overhand rights, but nothing seemed to have that crippling power of 3 years ago.

^Yup.
BJ just has a ton of pride...or stubbornness, whatever you wanna call it...I guess he wants to stay mostly true to where he came from, which is respectable, but with the camp he's got it's just not gonna cut it imo.
