These awards suck.
Sherdog sucks, Ariel Helwani sucks, Alex Gustafsson was way more impressive than Bisping for international fighter of the year award (Bisping beat Stann and lost to Sonnen while Gus beat the Janitor, Shogun, and Thiago Silva lol), Ring Card girl of the year awards are fucking pointless-their just going to give one to a different girl every year, it's 100% biased towards the UFC...and isn't it funny how now all of a sudden that Dana had these disputes with Greg Jackson, and no Diaz missed any press conferences, that Cesar Gracie all of a sudden wins coach of the year award?
Also, Jamie Varner-Joe Lauzon wasn't NEAR as good of a fight as Shogun-Hendo or Chandler-Alvarez...or Zombie vs Poirier for that matter.
...and they had ESPN as a nominee for MMA Media source of the year award? Lol I don't know if they are trying to kiss ass or were just throwing random websites in at the last second or what but I find that pretty hilarious. MMAFighting.com or MMAJunkie.com should win every year with those available options.

How the fuck did Cesar Gracie gym win best gym? I think AKA should've taken that title. Gilbert Melendez had a poor showing, Nate Diaz got dominated by Bendo, Nick Diaz got beat by Condit. The only person I know of from their gym that won a fight was Jake shields who is about as entertaining as watching a snail pleasure itself.

Doesn't exactly sound like gym of the year to me.
How Gustaffson didn't get international fighter is a mystery to say the least.

These awards are a friggin joke. Bisping winning international fighter of the year? Come on, the guy spent the year going 1-1. Struve went 3-0, Gustafsson went 2-0, Korean Zombie only fought once but at least it was an impressive victory. I would have given it to Struve but I could understand it going to anyone else other than Bisping.

Damn, I would of thought Cung would at least be nominated for best KO. Franklin's head bounced off the canvas a couple of times. Some of the winners definitely did not make sense.
