From what I understand, repeated shots to the dome significantly raise creatine levels.
Truth be told, though, how the f___ did they come to the conclusion the elevated levels were from training and not the absolute drubbing he took in a horribly exhausting and exerting fight? His kidneys and liver were working double time due to dehydration and he had a 250 lb man laying on him and hitting him all night.

I am pretty sure that a professional high level doctor knows much better than any of us the reasons of the high creatine levels JDS had.

It was at the ER....not a specialist in athletics.
Unless he had his numbers charted pre-fight and post-fight it's a legitimate point.

I understand that there are other outlying factors that can effect a fighter winning or loosing, but whatever happened to taking a lose as a lose. There's much more dignity in saying "Cain beat me. That's it." Not coming out and having an excuse.
I have all the respect in the world for JDS and he I fully believe he can be the champ again. Just keep quiet, make the changes that are needed and win.

| JDS blames "personal issues" for loss to Cain - Fighters Only Quote:
“I was there physically but mentally it seemed that I wasn’t. There were things happening in the fight that were common for me, things that I react well to in the academy, but I was not able to do it in there.”
Dos Santos understood that his lack of attitude was the reason for the defeat and this conclusion makes him feel frustrated. “I only followed him and defended. I did nothing else. The strongest point in all of my previous fights was to attack and walk forward, but this time I walked backwards, defended and didn’t do anything else.”
“I saw the fight again and noticed these things going on, saw the opportunities that I had to do some moves and I didn’t do it. That was really frustrating. I had this low profile performance because of my mind. There was some personal things happening and I missed a little of my attention for this reason.”
Besides personal issues, Cigano also revealed there were physical setbacks. “And there’s something else. Right after the fight I went to the hospital and did an exam in which my creatine rate was too high. The normal rate is until 300 and mine was 1400. I also experienced problems with my urine and kidneys.”
The explanation Junior Cigano received from the doctor was that he trained too much to defend the championship and it ended up causing health problems that could have affected him before the fight. “The explanation from the doctors was that I crossed the line, had an overtraining and it could have happened even before the match-up.”
“I was feeling so well that I crossed the limit and trained too much. This was the explanation from the doctors. Mine is that I was not with a good mind, was experiencing personal problems and didn’t come in well mentally in the fight.”

Fine JDS, but if you don't come out in your next fight and destroy who ever it is then you weren't "injured", you got your ass kicked.
