UFC fighters have the option of being taught how to market and create a brand for themselves at annual retreats/conferences. Some learn better than the others.

I enjoy some drama, it keeps the sport interesting. I liken it to the hockey rivalries which creates more emotional investment in games.

I completely agree. There's nothing wrong with adding a little more intrigue and emotion to a fight. I'm sure there are dozens of fights I could name that were FOTN/FOTY candidates but I just wasn't as interested because of couldn't root for or against one of the competitors. One good example that's coming up will be the Ellenberger/Hendricks fight. On paper it should be pretty awesome, but I am just not all that interested in either guy.

Back in the hayday of WWE I remember listening to an interview with someone (don't remember who) and they said something along the lines of "It doesn't matter if you're loved or hated, it's only a problem when fans are indifferent to you"

I just think it's hilarious that Bisping walked into Vitor's fist, stood there for 15 seconds and then hit Vitor's arm and told him not to touch him. LOL, so ridiculous, but it's hilarious.

I don't think Bisping is really leapfrogging the other contenders because of his talk. Boetsch, Belcher and Lombard was out of the race when they lost. Weidman is the only clear one ahead of Bisping and he's out with the injury. If Bisping beats Vitor, he beat a top 10 and a top 5 back to back, and would have had a 6-1 stretch with his only loss being a very close decision against the #2 MW. To me, if he beats Vitor, he would actually be deserving of a shot.

I believe I said something about foreshadowing and Prison Rape......Someone should send Bisping a bumper sticker that says "my other ride is Vitor's Penis"
