This is at the same time both very surprising and par for the course. Vitor's win rided on his striking ability in the first ten minutes while he was fresh and he nailed it. That said, I REALLY thought Bisping would've fought a lot more conservatively and was shocked that he was so eager to simply kickbox with Vitor for the first round, which almost cost him then. Going into the second, I have no idea why Bisping didn't look to shoot or clinch Vitor, the gameplan was always "weigh on Vitor, drain Vitor, then pick him apart by riding your bike", I'm somewhat perplexed as to what the hell Bisping was intending with his approach, he was getting backed up immediately starting the in the second and his footwork was starting to get a little less lateral and he looked lost.
I expected Bisping to gameplan Vitor to a decision, but as we all said, it was Vitor's to lose within the first two rounds and he delivered.

I think Bisping just talked himself into believing that he was that much better then Vitor. He spent so much time deriding Belfort he end up not taking him seriously enough. He was being completely baited into exchanges where it was only a matter of time before he was ko'd.
I really hope Vitor's piss test turns out clean. He was looking mean tonight

Vitor looked the sharpest he's ever been. He slipped so many punches and landed two high kicks.
Agreed, in regards to Vitor's performance. One of the obvious reasons Vitor looked so comfortable in the pocket is Bisping's lack of power. Towards the end of the round it was obvious that Bisping wasn't enjoying the taste. Phenom set up that head shot using body kicks with brilliant, cold-blooded flair.
