Travis Brown Interested In Meeting Ben Rothwell, Targets April For Bout Quote:
Travis Browne wasted no time in making a push for his next match, saying he was interested in meeting Ben Rothwell at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale in April. Rothwell was defeated by Gabriel Gonzaga Saturday night at UFC On FX: Belfort Vs. Bisping.
"Looks like me and (Rothwell) may have a date in the fuure," Browne posted. "What do the fans think?? April 13th for the TUF Finale??"

Well, he is coming off a loss so I guess it makes sense, but I think he can pick a better loser to fight

I think it'd be a pretty good fight quite honestly. More exciting than Browne vs Gonzaga that's for sure. I think he just wants to put on a good show. I'd rather see a rematch with Kongo though.

Browne is a top prospect coming off a loss and wants a win.
I suspect that the UFC had a plan for Browne, probably not for him to say something so soon, though.
I contend that Browne had prior notice of the matchmaking plan --- loser of Rothwell/Gonzaga was to fight Browne.

I will watch this fight. Sounds like a good match. Both coming off of losses. Would also watch Browne vs Congo in a rematch.
Browne vs Miocic would be good as well. Two hot prospects coming off of losses.
