At this point the only guy at MW I wouldn't want to see fight Anderson would be Rockhold. He's a solid fighter, but I think he gets beat by all of the top 5.

This guy again. Hell, get matt hammil a fight with Anderson, he beat Munoz too. Yushin did too, but we saw how well he did against Anderson.

Munoz, a guy that was considered a top ten by beating nobody gets beat by Chris and somehow Chris is elevated to #1 contender. Bizzaro world.

Who did you have in your top ten when Weidman beat Munoz? Who did you have ranked above Munoz circa June 2012 based on win/loss? Cause in Bizzaro World, there was just Sonnen.

I ask because your statement: "Munoz, a guy that was considered a top ten by beating nobody" implies that his top ten ranking was somehow soft or underserved, which indicates you know of at least 9 other UFC middleweights circa June 2012 who you would rank above Munoz. Name them.

I don't want Weidman fighting Anderson coming off an injury. I'd rather see him looking as good as possible. It is what it is however. Division seems to be shaking out.

man i wish i could make matches because i would book phillipou against jacare. winner would fight the winner of okami/lombard. weidman/vitor weidman wins he fights silva next vitor wins he would have to beat the winner of my costa/jacare okami/lombard eliminator. in the mean time i would do the champion vs champion fight. that would give silva first a fight he said he wanted against rockhold then legitimize the next contender. if it was weidman then he would look even better for having beaten vitor. then out of the other four youd have another potential challenger. hell if it played out that way then you could bring in evans to fight the winner out of the other four. then you have a third solid challenger lined up perfectly. oh also kennedy/stann and kennedy/boetsch would be grand fights.

but i digress. what we will likely get is one fight this year out of anderson against an opponent basically of his choosing.
