No suprises here. Silva and camp are still terrified of fighting someone with an actual legit chance of beating him, RD still hasn't said anything intelligent, and "title" shots are still being decided on based on popularity. All this thread needs is rampage to chime in defending trolldawg and talking about how he's turning pro for this to be the exact same as every other silva related thread since the 2nd chael fight.

im not sold that silva is afraid to fight anyone... now afraid of a bad pay day? yeah, id buy that. the man has beat every kind of fighter the ufc has had to offer. he gets a percentage of ppv, you cant fault him for wanting to fight people that the casual fans know so he can get a better pay day.

Here is what I don't get. Anderson is 37 years old and last fought in October 2012 with no current fight scheduled. What the hell is UFC waiting for? They should just get him signed to fight any top MW contender and I would be happy. Dana is on record stating he wants to sign Anderson to a 5 fight deal. But if Anderson is only going to fight once a year and hand pick his opponent, then please by all means, retire and good riddance. Id rather see the belt up for grabs with the top MW contenders fighting each other then the so called GOAT ducking some of these top contenders

I would watch the Cung le fight. It would be a fun fight with a guaranteed finish.
If Anderson doesn't want to fight the number 1 contenders, then that is fine. Drop the belt and take cool challenges from other weight classes. Then come back and fight for "your" belt when you feel like a "worthy" challenger is there.
I just want to see Anderson fight. I want to see him fight Weidman first and foremost, b/c I believe he is the rightful number one, I would want the Rockhold fight second, and the Le fight third, but for goodness sake just pick someone.

I like Anderson but because of idiotic comments like this made by his manager, people tend to think that he ducks opponents.
Seriously Cung Le?????
They want opponents that are stylistically good for Anderson. That means, they want to avoid wrestlers at all cost.
Cung Le is a good fighter but he is a puppy compared to Anderson. It would be something like Anderson-Okami 2.
If they really want a big name with some wins in a row then take rematch with Belfort. He is a huge name and has 3 wins in a row in the MW division.
