soares issued a statement about Weidman the night he beat Munoz, before Weidman made any effort to ask for a title shot.
Again, I don't really care why soares said anything, anymore than I care why Anderson actually stated he doesn't want to fight him.
That fact that it happened at all is telling in and of itself.
And again, I don't think Weidman will crush Anderson. Obviously Anderson is a huge favorite, and I think he beats Chris 7 out of 10 times at this point in their careers. I don't think Weidman is the only option, I've said for months that I could see Anderson fighting Rockhold.
But I want Anderson to defend the MW belt before the endo of July when it will be a year--not almost, but a full year--since he's defended the belt.
Chris represents one of the two viable options at this point.

Rivethead said "...in almost 5 years...". Minimally that means that he wanted to confuse me on rather or not he was including Dan Henderson.
Does that help you understand that I am going beyond what you said, and actually implying why you said it?
as for this

that was in response to someones post. So I was assuming that is what they were referring to.
PS its funny to through the definitions of the words on there, but please answer my question above this time.

I'll try to break it down with examples, and see if that helps you: Why
I wrote "Okami was the best fight he's had in almost 5 years" as an effort to deliberately confuse someone of lesser intelligence. What
I wrote "Okami was the best fight he's had in almost 5 years." Someone of lesser intelligence got confused.
I'm not seeing any questions that you posted. Did you use punctuation?

Are you seriously that opposed to the idea of admitting you were wrong? Please point out where in my previous post I did not use punctuation. Oh, and in case you missed it, my question was the following:
"Does that help you understand that I am going beyond what you said, and actually implying why you said it?"

Bork I like you, so let me give you some sound advice...
If you want to be a good poster(like me and rivet ) You need to criticize Anderson at every turn, question his heart, and act like he is ducking fighters left and right... from behind your keyboard...
quit trollin and get with the program.
trying to use rational reasons as to why heavy criticism on an MMA GOAT isnt justified.... come on man... this isnt sherdog... take that garbage elsewhere.
clearly we know what were talking about, looking at the situation from the sidelines. Quote:

You've used that line several times... I support the sport beyond "black fighters" i dont see fighting that way. Im not going to root for a guy just because he is black...
you bringing that idea up all the time is closer to discrimination than anything I have done.
If thats who you are, then fine, who am I to tell you what to do... but dont paint me in the same light.

But no. I didn't need any additional help. I understand the difference between what and why. Quote:

An example of a simple what Anderson Silva said would be:
Silva said that he does not want to fight Weidman.
An example of why Anderson Silva said that would be:
Silva saying "I do not want to fight Weidman." minimally means that Weidman caught Silva's attention.
Look at it this way
- Why did Anderson Silva say "I do not want to fight Weidman."???
- Well, minimally because Weidman caught his attention.
Simply because he did not literally say the word why does not mean that he was not speculating as to why he said it. | Holy shit, are you high? There is no way anyone is this stupid. Weidman catching Anderson's attention is not the answer to "why" Anderson said he doesn't have any interest in facing Weidman. The fact that Anderson mentioned Weidman, shows that he caught Anderson's attention. That's just a fact.
Your wording makes no sense. Here is an example: Anderson: I don't want to fight Chris Weidman Reporter: Why? Anderson: Because he caught my attention. Reporter: Dafuq?
Do you see how idiotic that sounds? That's not a "why"...
Why is it so hard for you to admit that you were wrong? Are you worried about looking dumb? At this point, not admitting you were wrong makes you look dumber.
