soares issued a statement about Weidman the night he beat Munoz, before Weidman made any effort to ask for a title shot.

Again, I don't really care why soares said anything, anymore than I care why Anderson actually stated he doesn't want to fight him.

That fact that it happened at all is telling in and of itself.


And again, I don't think Weidman will crush Anderson. Obviously Anderson is a huge favorite, and I think he beats Chris 7 out of 10 times at this point in their careers. I don't think Weidman is the only option, I've said for months that I could see Anderson fighting Rockhold.

But I want Anderson to defend the MW belt before the endo of July when it will be a year--not almost, but a full year--since he's defended the belt.

Chris represents one of the two viable options at this point.

If you want to be a good poster(like me and rivet) You need to criticize Anderson at every turn, question his heart, and act like he is ducking fighters left and right... from behind your keyboard...

trying to use rational reasons as to why heavy criticism on an MMA GOAT isnt justified.... come on man... this isnt sherdog... take that garbage elsewhere.

Simply because he did not literally say the word why does not mean that he was not speculating as to why he said it.

Holy shit, are you high? There is no way anyone is this stupid. Weidman catching Anderson's attention is not the answer to "why" Anderson said he doesn't have any interest in facing Weidman. The fact that Anderson mentioned Weidman, shows that he caught Anderson's attention. That's just a fact.

Your wording makes no sense. Here is an example:

Anderson: I don't want to fight Chris Weidman
Reporter: Why?
Anderson: Because he caught my attention.
Reporter: Dafuq?

Do you see how idiotic that sounds? That's not a "why"...

Why is it so hard for you to admit that you were wrong? Are you worried about looking dumb? At this point, not admitting you were wrong makes you look dumber.
