Aldo was given his belt. Cruz defended his WEC belt on the last WEC card and then was promoted to UFC champion, thus being named champion in the UFC without having a fight.

EDIT; Actually the Cruz and Ronda situation are very similar. Look at it as Ronda being PROMOTED UFC Champ rather than "given"

I have always thought of Android as the most talented striker in WMMA. She is about the only one I've seen with devastating knockout power. How much of that was the steroids is debatable because steroids don't make you punch "good", just harder. So the talent is there. So how much of it was really power?

That being said, if Ronda got her to play her game and ended up getting a hold of Android... I can see Rhonda taking her on the ground, even if Android does have a Black Belt. I think in Brazil they come in Captain Crunch boxes anyways.

I just have a few tidbits to add....

1. Clearly Ronda sees it like she needs Cyborg not the other way around. She hasn't been able to keep her name out of her mouth in MONTHS.

2. The criticism of Cyborg bringing in Tito is DUMB. The guy was subbed ONCE and that was in his second fight and not to mention his ADCC time. Clearly, he's a guy who knows how to avoid an armbar....

Cyborg needs to lay off the ice cream and steroids then get down to 135.

There is absolutely no reason why Ronda should give a weight advantage to a challenger when she has her own division that contains the majority of the top female talent in the world. Cyborg is in a weight class that is lacking in competition on the highest levels and thus has to goad a smaller fighter into a fight instead of taking it upon herself and doing what is necessary to get her biggest payday and most exposure on the most popular stage in MMA.

Only a brash fool would give the advantage to a challenger who has proven to be a cheat. We know Ronda is a fool from the blonde comments she makes, so this fight may yet happen at 140. But it is highly unlikely.

Cyborg is trying to use her mouth to talk to her title shot instead of hiring a dietitian.
