Title is not misleading, and nor was the other article about Chris being closer than most think. I mean, it's Chris or one other guy, how much closer can it get? If people would step back for a moment away from Weidman's balls, they would see he's not exactly been looked over time and time again. He's right there at a title shot and if he has to fight one more time, it's not robbery, it's no tragedy, his time has come, he's getting a shot either now or after his next win.

I find it funny that the same people who constantly cry about Weidman not getting a title shot, are often the same people who try and say that Silva has a padded résumé. Weidman does not have an impressive résumé at all, and if/when Silva destroys him, people will say that he was just another sub par fighter handfed to silva, MW division is weak, Silva is ducking real competition, bla bla bla.

I know what you're saying, and I don't disagree. He definitely would be more deserving of a title shot than Chael or Diaz, but I'm still unhappy that the UFC is continuing the trend of giving title shots to people that don't deserve it.

Are you unhappy about Frankie getting a title shot coming off TWO losses? Or does he deserve it?

with Zombie hurt, coch coming off injury and him being in the same situation as Chael and stepping up and taking the fight, yea i would say he deserves it.

Whoa whoa whoa. Frankie getting a title shot and Chael getting the title shot are two complete different situations. I don't remember hearing anyone turning down the chance to fight Aldo.

I have no problem with this. Rashad is very deserving of an imidiate title fight if he moves down. I feel bad for Wiedman but he's going to get his shot as well. I know it's been beaten to death but Chael getting any title fight in any weight class is pure stupidity.

On paper rashad should wreck him, but I don't know if he's strong enough mentally.

Evans is a much better wrestler than Chael IMO, but he is much more cautious than Chael. Chaels wrestling works for him because he isn't scared of taking shots while trying to get inside. Evans tends to try and strike more, and most of his takedowns come from the center of the octagon. I think Silva will use the same gameplan from his past 3 fights and just chill against the cage.
