People confuse disrespect with opinion. You can respect the contributions of Gracie and knowing what he did for the sport and at the same time predict in a fight against someone like Hughes that he's going to get absolutely smashed. That doesn't mean you don't think he put the sport on the map and blah blah, you just simply pick against him in a single bout against someone else.

Now that I can agree on. Personally I think GSP has Hughes number & will cream him in their next fight. Penn would probably beat him also in a rematch.

However, Hughes, as much of a cock that he is, did win his title back. Penn walked out on the UFC, the title was vacated. Hughes beats Charuto for the title. He then went on to beat GSP, Trigg & Riggs. So yeah, he didn't win the title off Penn, but he did recapture the title.

Are you saying that Frank Shamrock is still the UFC MW champion because he didn't lose the title in a fight or Bas Rutten is the HW champ?

Look to be honest I REALLY can't bare Hughes, but I can respect the quality fighter he is so please stop making me defend the guy!

I would LOVE to see Royce kick his ass!

I'm half-ass routing for Royce in this fight just because he's talked me into his corner during all the build up. Who knew Royce could be the king of smack talk if he wanted to?! I didn't, not until the pre-UFC 60 TV specials and all his media work leading up to this fight. He's done an amazing job.

Ya I changed my mind. I don't want to see Hughes with suffer from any broken bones. I don't hate the guy, just can't stand him. If that makes a difference? Hughes hauled off on a stretcher will satisfy my appetite though. I haven't been keeping up with the trash talk from either man. All I know is I'm on Gracie's team.

Boone, you really confused me in your one post. You said you can't believe people are picking Royce but at the end you said, although you don't see it happening, Hughes can make a mistake and get caught? A bit weird i must say homie.....

But anyways i think if this was five rounds i'd pick Royce to win. Three rounds favor Hughes because Royce works slow most of the time. I think Hughes will fight defensively for the most part but do enough to take a decision. Although if Royce catches him in a choke or submission my jaw isn't going to drop in complete shock either. I too am rooting for Royce and i was never a big fan of his.
