It was yeah, and it was funny that Joe called him on it haha

I think Maia did a great job on saturday, and for sure another win would line him up solidly as a contender. I dont think he does well against GSP though. GSPs top game is too strong for maia to work off his back Id think, and GSP is notoriously tough to take down.. If Maia could pull off a sweep though, things could get interesting.

Pretty crazy that Fitch could do nothing to stop the takedowns. I've always felt Fitch was pretty overrated, but for him to get totally outclassed at his own game was very impressive. Can anyone stop Maia's grappling at 170? People are counting him out against GSP already, may be the case. Closing the distance is very hard, and Maia gets his takedowns from the clinch mostly.
