Ok, I retract my previous statement...

- Dominick Cruz shouldn't be on the p4p list
- Faber shouldn't be ranked higher than Wineland or Pickett
- Rory should be ranked above Diaz
- Bisping and Munoz shouldn't be ranked as high as they are
- Machida should be behind Gustafsson and Glover
- JDS should have been bumped down just below Cormier
- Struve should be ahead of Nelson
- Carwin shouldn't be top 10. Hunt should be there somewhere.

There are never ranking that I will completely agree with, but these actually arent that bad in my book. Iv seen far worse on a regular basis.

far to much to argue with... but something I havent seen mentioned...

I love Hendo, but could EASILY see him losing to the rest of guys on the TOP10 list... IMO Hendo is fading a lot like Rampage and Shogun are... He gets picked apart by guys like Goose, Glover, and Mousasi... and taken down to death by guys like Davis and Bader... Not that he cannot win those fights... But the old guard is moving out imo

I can understand from a ranking perspective him being at #3 may not be deserved at this point... but when you look at the matchups, who do you see beating him... Id take him over all of these guys... Sure he could always get cracked and KO'd... but the media members arent overlooking his skillset like a lot of the fans do.

good boxing with great TDD. Good cardio, solid ground game... Only guy I may pick to beat him is Okami... Although Okami strenghs are also Bisping strengths... Okami is a great wrestler but so were Sonnen and Evans... Okami also has slick boxing, but doesnt really have huge power or speed to deeply threaten Bisping's suspect chin... Okami likes to outpoint his opponents with his boxing, that would be hard to do against Bisping.

On the subject of refereeing/judging blunders affecting rankings, unless you're going to argue corruption (judges knowingly favoring an individual fighter) then ALL fighters are subject to the possibility of judging incompetence. While a fighter may genuinely have been hard done by in terms of judging, I believe this to be relatively rare, and such outliers will smooth out over time.

well, you can see the massive overlap between the two. we have a pretty strong crop of champions at the moment, nearly all of which have massive streaks going.

that wasn't always the case, though. i remember when lesnar beat couture, some jackass had him at #5 p4p the next day. whaaaaa? hell, ranking him #1 heavyweight at the time was ridiculous.

some of us have jobs and have to use phones to communicate and it's much easier to abbreviate as opposed to typing entire words which auto correct will more than likely fuck up anyway.

i will say i agree with your point about the champions being in the pound for pound though. every single ufc champion deserves that. in fact, i'd say the one that deserves it the least would be cain and it'd be pretty hard to convince anyone that he's not top ten pound for pound.

again, i agree with mmanews/sherdog/mmafighting rankings moreso than these official ufc stats (then again, it is just zuffa so...). we can go on for days about shane carwin (i mean the last time he won a fight was against mir in 2010 ffs), ellenberger being higher than kampmann (who stopped his ass btw), dodson being higher than mccall (bullshit), frankie edgar not being ranked the number 2 featherweight (or lightweight for that matter), goose ranked higher than phil davis (who beat goose and his only loss was to then #2 rashad), and guys like glover, lil nog, and machida ranked ahead of shogun (SHOGUN!!!)...but i digress.
