He's won a handful of fights via submission, but the one thing I was impressed with was the armbar escape he pulled off against Travis Lutter. Lutter had his leg in the wrong position as far as I'm concerned, but none the less it was deep and I thought Franklin was done. He has decent grappling ability from what we've been able to see it just isn't his go-to.

Now that you brought this up, I'd like to see him against someone more apt for the ground than striking.
