UFC welterweight, Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves hinted at a return to action today via his Twitter today after nearly a year off from fighting due to an injury which forced him out of a UFC 149 bout with Siyar Bahadurzada. When asked by a fan dubbed, @italianUFCfan, Alves responded with a month and a promise for whoever his next opponent may be. Whether or not Alves knows more about his next opponent than we do, is still unclear.
Here is the tweet via Alves official account:

He's coming off of a loss and will have been out for over a year? Give that man a title shot!

Long layoff, difficulty making WW and coming back from serious knee surgery for a fighter who predominantly uses alot of kicks and movement on the feet....
Yikes, let's hope they match him up with a Hardy, Akiyama or Misaki.

Always been a big fan of Alves, It'll be over a year layoff for him, I hope he comes back strong.
I still think he can give any WW problems on a goodnight. Cant wait to see him back.

Ill be happy to see him back in there. I dunno who he gets, but either way it should be interesting. I would love to see him vs Lawler but hes got koscheck.
