To be fair, I think he was 21 when he got onto the show. Also, you can't really say he peaked before he was on the show. His first pro fight was the TUF finale, and before that he was broke so he was doing all his training at home, learning from Penn's book.

What a douche... not sportsmanlike at all bragging about injuring someone that severely. That's bar-room tough guy talk...
Uriah Hall is a class act for the genuine concern he showed after he realized how serious it was.
Both are beautiful and brutal knockouts none the less

The amount of damage done to the victim of the knockout is absolutely irrelevant, and imo it's disrespectful to boast about that as an argument for why you should hold claim to the best knockout.
The sensationalism of the finish is the variable upon which we decide which is a better knockout, not the amount of life that was erased from the victim's memory.

when dana claimed that uriah halls KO was the best in the history of TUF i immediately thought of this KO. didn't knew it was by riddle. that was a vicious KO and after watching the video again, i really felt bad for the guy who got KOed. i knew the guy broke his jaw but didn't knew he had amnesia for six months.

^Yeah I checked out that Weidman-Hall ass whipping a few days ago. I guess Hall had more hype ATM, the announcers were riding his balls pretty hard until that left hook.
But this is a different video than the one I saw. The one I saw was w/the actual broadcasting booth.
WAY TO GO CHRIS! WAY TO GO! WAY TO GO CHRIS! WAY TO GO! lol...

rh | I sat next to him at Fedor vs Bigfoot, and I have to say not only did he seem unintelligent but he was constantly bragging the entire time about how he broke this guys jaw or put that guy to sleep. One of the most obnoxious people I've ever come across, and I live in Jersey.
I agree with everyone else, I think him bragging about medically hurting someone is in very poor taste.

Yeah this just reminds me that mixed martial arts will always be a mixed bag filled with tons of "fighters" and a select few true "Martial Artists", perhaps the ratio will improve with time, but the culture of our country doesn't give me much hope that such a shift will come to pass. I was a fan of Riddle before he said this, sadly I can't say I'm a fan now. It's absolutely disgusting and Dana White should be up his ass six ways to Sunday, especially if this breaks in mainstream news. A MMA fighter bragging about giving a guy brain damage, next on the O'reilly Factor! Oh the fucking joy.......

Not to take anything away from Riddles knockout, but I would guess that the first shot he threw was simply a knockout. The damage he's taking pride in most likely came AFTER Simmler was out. Just sayin...
