Not being up on Luke but getting through Vitor would certainly say a lot for a title shot. Sounds like this should be a great match-up

I would say he's done more at MW than anyone else if he does. Akiyama, Rumble, and Rockhold as his last 3 is pretty impressive to say the least. You can hardly hold the Jones fight against him when he stepped in and did what he could to help out the company in a fight he knew he hadn't earned.

realistically, who else is there for vitor to beat at the moment? weidman is either injured or getting the title shot, sonnen is gone for the time being, munoz and stann would be steps down, etc.

and i'd hate to see what he would do to wandy these days...

good fight... this will be a true test for Rockhold... If he wins he will clearly deserve his shot, it will be bigger than anything Weidman has done...

hopefully AS/Weidman can happen in the meantime...

odd how Dana seems so adamant that AS/Weidman wont happen in Brazil... When Anderson never got to fight Chael there like he was promised.

would be a great 1.2. main and co main... It makes sense for a Brazil card, and it would solidify who would get the next shot... granted AS wins, if Chris wins, Anderson likely gets an immediate rematch.




I like to see Luke call out a top fighter...especially someone as dangerous as Vitor... but I have a feeling it will backfire on him and he gets put out just like Bisping does... Its hard to work your standup game on someone like Vitor, without getting caught in the process... He has too much speed.

Rockhold is going to win. Belfort is a round 1 bully that doesn't like when he is getting hit. He is worst than Overeem at that.

Rockhold will crush Belfort soul in that fight. If it is a 5 round fight, Belfort is not going to the decision.

I know Hector is facing Okami in a couple of weeks, but Lombard vs. Belfort would be amazing to see.
